Hi everyone. I’ve added a new listening feature to the blog. I’ve been wanting to share more of the music I’ve had on repeat, so now you can see my top artists and tracks on the new Listening Stats page.

The top artists and songs come from Spotify. That part uses Spotify’s shortest available listening range, which is about the past four weeks. Spotify doesn’t offer a top-items range for just the past week, so I’ve also added a separate seven-day summary showing how many tracks I’ve played and an estimate of the minutes listened to.

The minutes are an estimate because Spotify gives the full track length, not exactly how much of each song I listened to. Still, it’s a fun way to keep track of what’s been in regular rotation and share it with everyone reading the blog.
